The sun is shining down our backs and all of us are enjoying the holidays, but before you know it, college will start again, and you will be dragging yourself to class once more, crying out in despair. Well, what if I told you student life needn’t be so difficult? Just follow these 5 simple hacks and watch yourself transform into that happy student you never though you could be.

Sleep is important!

If you are tired of always waking up groggy in the morning, because you spent the whole night tossing and turning about unable to sleep, then this hack is for you. Excessive use of smartphones and other electronics can disturb anybody’s sleeping pattern. The best way to get out of this habit is to turn off all electronic devices atleast 30 minutes before your sleep time and reading the most boring book you can lay your hands on. This will put you to sleep in an instant and you won’t be dozing off mid-lectures anymore.

Food Trail

To prevent yourself from getting too distracted while studying, leave yourself a food trail. Set study goals like, reading 20 pages in an hour, and when you get to the end of it, reward yourself with a candy or whatever it is that you love to munch on.

Get rid of that stage fright

Students are constantly required to give presentations in front of the class and if you have suffer from stage fright, then this might seem like a terrifying ordeal. But there’s a very easy solution to this. All you need to do is jump up and down or move around a little bit before your presentation. This will help boost up your energy, flooding your body with feel-good endorphins, which in turn will boost your self image and give you the confidence you need to give a killer presentation. Try it out the next time you have to present before a crowd.

Pretty notes

In order to make studying easy and more interesting, take down notes using colourful pens. This will stimulate your visual memory, while also making your notes look pretty.

Your To-Do List

Almost all the students end up being unorganised, even if they try hard not to be. Being unorganised can have negative consequences because no professor will believe you if you say you forgot your assignment at home, even though you did genuinely forget to bring it with you. To save yourself from these embarrasing situations, always make a to-do-list the night either on your phone or in your pocket book and check it periodically during the day to make sure everything on the list is done.

Pretty simple, isn’t it?
